Frequently Asked Questions
-
- Well its simple, as you can see even in our name our batteries are designed and built with marine grade internals. They are designed to withstand the toughest conditions put on the batteries. We use Grade A cells only, the most advanced BMS systems available, the toughest internal structure making our batteries the safest and most reliable batteries on the market today!
-
Sure can, because there is no fluid inside of LiFePO4 batteries. This gives you the flexibility to install the battery where it is best suited for you.
-
- Well of course, these are marine batteries we assume they will get wet at some point!
-
- Monster Marine Lithium Batteries are very safe. We use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) cylindrical cells for their inherent safety, we also have the most advanced BMS in Lithium Batteries. LiFePO4 does not have thermal runaway, and they do not explode.

Definitely, we are avid fisherman ourselves so we designed these to take a beating in the back of our bass boat and still perform perfectly.
-
- BMS stands for Battery Management System. The BMS protects the cells from getting damaged from common over or under voltage, over current, extreme high temperature, external short circuiting. This system will shut off the battery to protect the cells from unsafe operating conditions. All MML batteries have the most Advanced BMS built into the battery to insure protection.
-
- Depending on your application can determine the lifespan of your battery, but generally speaking around room temperature they can last 10-15 years.
-
- Simple answer is no. Because our batteries are single batteries we have a 24v, & 36v single battery. Since we have 3 batteries in one for our 36v and 2 batteries in one for our 24v our batteries require our special 24v and 36v chargers. You can however use your current onboard AGM charger for our 12v batteries.
-
- Yes you can, for golf cart we recommend 3 or 4 of our 12v 100Ah deep cycles wired in series for 36v or 48v.
-
- Yes, our 12v 100Ah deep cycles are most commonly used for all the above, due to our batteries able to withstand lots of vibrations and jarring our marine batteries work amazing for RV's, Solar, and Van's! We also have a 12v 344Ah deep cycle that is only 1/2 inch longer and 1/2 inch wider than a normal group 31 battery that is taking over the Van life and RV world!
